Dealing with a DWI or DUI charge can feel daunting, but it also presents a unique opportunity for personal growth and positive change. At Stepping Stone Treatment Program Center (SSTPC), we understand the challenges you face and are dedicated to providing compassionate guidance and support as you fulfill the requirements for DWI/DUI education and treatment.
If you’re an adult over 18 who has been charged with driving under the influence (DUI) or driving while impaired (DWI), SSTPC is here to help. Our programs are designed to not only meet legal obligations but also to empower you to make healthier decisions and avoid future incidents.
Our state-approved 12-hour DWI/DUI course offers a thorough curriculum tailored for court-ordered education. Over six weeks, participants engage in a program focused on increasing awareness and understanding of the consequences of DUI and DWI offenses.
Through engaging and interactive sessions, participants will explore the impact of alcohol and drugs, reflect on their behaviors, and learn strategies for making positive life changes.
For those in need of more intensive support, our 26-week DWI/DUI Outpatient Treatment Program provides a structured pathway to long-term recovery. Approved by the state of Maryland, this program includes group sessions held 1-2 times per week, with content tailored to the unique needs of each participant.
Based on a comprehensive initial assessment, our treatment plans are personalized to ensure that you receive the care and support you need throughout your recovery journey.
At SSTPC, we are committed to offering high-quality, client-focused services that address the specific needs of each person we serve. Here’s why clients choose us:
If you’ve been ordered to complete DWI/DUI education or treatment, there’s no reason to delay. Reach out to Stepping Stone Treatment Program Center today to schedule your assessment and take the first step on your path to recovery.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is thoughtfully crafted to provide comprehensive support as you embark on the journey toward greater independence. Whether you're transitioning from a higher level of care or beginning your recovery with IOP, our dedicated team will work closely with you to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs during this critical phase of early recovery.
In our IOP, you will have the opportunity to engage in one-on-one sessions with an individual therapist, participate in dynamic group therapy, and involve your loved ones through family therapy sessions. This holistic approach ensures that you receive the emotional, psychological, and social support necessary to build a strong foundation for long-term recovery. The program typically meets three to four times a week, with each session lasting approximately three hours.
For those seeking a less intensive level of care, our Outpatient Therapy (OP) offers a flexible and supportive option. As the least intensive program we offer, OP is designed to help you maintain accountability and continue building on the progress you've made in recovery. The program includes one to two sessions per week, each lasting about three hours, and serves as an ongoing resource for clients in early recovery and beyond.
At Stepping Stone Treatment Program Center, we understand that recovery is a personal journey, and our programs are designed to meet you where you are. Whether you're just starting out or continuing your progress, we're here to support you every step of the way.
